Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA), 56-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Atlantic upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA) to clash with the Falcons in a Hawkeye Ten bout on Thursday, December 22. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 8-0. St. Albert won 52-29 in their recent league bout against Kuemper (Carroll, IA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Fremont-Mills Knights (Tabor, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Shenandoah will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
