The Azle Hornets basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Rider Raiders to 24 in the Hornets league victory on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mineral Wells for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Azle will battle a Rams team coming off a 48-37 non-league loss to Windthorst (Windthorst, TX). The Rams record now stands at 9-11.

The Raiders (0-15) will now prepare for their contest against Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Pirates come into the 5A Region I District 5 contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Granbury was routed by Glen Rose (Glen Rose, TX), 58-15, in a non-league contest.
