Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), 52-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Broadway upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Gobblers travel to Staunton (Staunton, VA) to clash with the Storm in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Staunton lost 54-37 in their recent league bout against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA)

Next up, the Black Knights clash with the Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Charlottesville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 43-33 non-league win over Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA).
