With the win, Crosby upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 9-9. A&M Consolidated won 63-32 in their recent non-league game against Waller (Waller, TX)

With the defeat, Port Neches-Groves moves to 4-10 on the year. The Indians host Lee (Baytown, TX) to face the Ganders in a 5A Region III District 17 game on Tuesday, January 3. The Ganders enter the game with a record of 0-12.
