New Jersey High School Basketball - Plainfield knocked off by Dayton

The Dayton Bulldogs basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Plainfield Cardinals to 35 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kent Place for a Union County - Valley contest on Thursday, December 22. Dayton will battle a Dragons team coming off a 45-14 league loss to Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ). The Dragons record now stands at 0-1.
The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ). The Minutemen enter the Union County - Valley contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Elizabeth ran past Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ), 57-38, in a non-league contest.
