Texas High School Basketball - Union Grove ripped by Hawkins

The Hawkins Hawks basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Union Grove Lions to 15 in the Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harmony for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Hawkins will battle a Eagles team coming off a 50-39 league loss to Mineola (Mineola, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-12.

The Lions (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against White Oak (White Oak, TX). The Roughnecks enter the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, White Oak was routed by Queen City (Queen City, TX), 55-32, in a non-league contest.
