North Carolina High School Basketball - South Point can't hold off Huss

December 20, 2022: Belmont, NC 28012

The Huss Huskies basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host South Point Red Raiders to 48 in the Huskies league victory on Tuesday.

The Huskies now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chesterfield for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 21. Huss will battle a Golden Rams team coming off a 44-38 league loss to Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC). The Golden Rams record now stands at 8-3.

The Red Raiders (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC). The Copperheads come into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Catawba Ridge edged Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC), 47-44, in a non-league contest.
