Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Forest nipped by Lake Zurich

December 20, 2022: Lake Zurich, IL 60047

The Lake Zurich Bears tipped the visiting Lake Forest Scouts basketball team by a final score of 48-45 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Bears face the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 27. Lake Zurich will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 8-5 record after their 60-47 non-league win over Sandburg (Orland Park, IL).

With the defeat, Lake Forest moves to 11-3 on the year. The Scouts host Fenwick (Oak Park, IL) to face the Friars in a non-league game on Monday, December 26. The Friars enter the game with a record of 5-8. Fenwick lost 58-44 in their recent league game against Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL)
