Louisa-Muscatine Falcons (Letts, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pekin Panthers (Packwood, IA), 41-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Louisa-Muscatine upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Falcons travel to West Liberty (West Liberty, IA) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Monday, January 2. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 3-3. West Liberty lost 68-61 in their recent league bout against Regina (Iowa City, IA)

Next up, the Panthers play the WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Pekin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record.
