Iowa High School Basketball - West Delaware can't hold off Marion

The Marion Wolves basketball team scored 48 points and held the host West Delaware Hawks to 44 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolves now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iowa City West for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Marion will battle a Trojans team coming off a 61-39 league win over Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.
The Hawks (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Beckman (Dyersville, IA). The Trailblazers enter the WAMAC - East contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Beckman was nudged by Cascade (Cascade, IA), 51-32, in a non-league contest.
