In their next game, the Knights face the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, December 21. West Bladen will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Scorpions enter the game with a 3-5 record after their 41-17 non-league win over West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC).

With the defeat, South Columbus moves to 2-8 on the year. The Stallions host Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC) to face the Patriots in a non-league game on Monday, January 2. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 2-5. Wilmington Christian Academy won 34-1 in their recent non-league game against Thomas Academy (Lake Waccamaw, NC)
