In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA), by a count of 41-9.
The Lancers (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees go into the non-league outing with a 1-5 record.
The Cavaliers now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Appomattox County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 3.
