In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Braden River Pirates basketball team scored a tight 47-41 triumph over the North Port Bobcats.
With the victory, Braden River improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Venice (Venice, FL) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
