The Franklin Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Kennedy Cougars to 45 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodcreek for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 21. Franklin will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 49-43 non-league loss to Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 6-6.

The Cougars (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Vacaville (Vacaville, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Vacaville was defeated by St. Mary's (Stockton, CA), 62-42, in a non-league contest.
