North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC), 32-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Iredell upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Raiders host North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 6-1. North Lincoln won 49-39 in their recent league bout against Statesville (Statesville, NC)

Next up, the Indians play the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 3. St. Stephens will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Red Tornadoes go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 43-38 non-league loss to South Caldwell (Hudson, NC).
