The Riverside-Martin Knights basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Tarboro Vikings to 31 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bertie for a contest on Tuesday, January 3. Riverside-Martin will battle a Falcons team coming off a 58-28 non-league win over Gates County (Gatesville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 4-2.
The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Nash Central was routed by Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC), 61-26, in a non-league contest.
