South East Jaguars (South Gate, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Carson Colts (Carson, CA), 56-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South East upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Jaguars host El Segundo (El Segundo, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-6. El Segundo won 50-38 in their recent non-league bout against Warren (Downey, CA)

Next up, the Colts play the Franklin Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Carson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 72-50 league loss to Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA).
