Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Northeast Early College Raiders (Austin, TX) and the host Eastside Early College Panthers (Austin, TX), saw Northeast Early College's basketball squad hold off Eastside Early College by a count of 59-52.
With the victory, Northeast Early College upgrades its record to 2-13 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Hyde Park (Austin, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 7-9.
Next up, the Panthers play the LBJ Austin Jaguars (Austin, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Eastside Early College will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
