Vermont High School Basketball - Missisquoi Valley can't hold off Harwood

The Harwood Highlanders basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds to 46 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Highlanders now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montpelier for a Capital contest on Friday, December 22. Harwood will battle a Solons team coming off a 86-38 league win over Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT). The Solons record now stands at 1-3.
The Thunderbirds (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Region (Orleans, VT). The Rangers come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Lake Region was nudged by Randolph (Randolph, VT), 43-26, in a league contest.
