In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Long Trail (Dorset, VT) basketball squad edged the visiting Leland & Gray Rebels (Townshend, VT), by a margin of 63-56.
The (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Sharon Academy (Sharon, VT). The Phoenix go into the Southern Vermont - D outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Sharon Academy was tipped by Mill River (North Clarendon, VT), 60-23, in a non-league outing.
The Rebels now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Arlington Memorial for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 21.
