West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA), 41-26 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Branch upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to River Valley (Blairsville, PA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Hornets play the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA) in a bout, on Monday, January 8. Juniata Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
