The Bishop Walsh Spartans basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting St. James Saints to 26 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Allegany for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 23. Bishop Walsh will meet a Campers team coming off a 45-21 non-league win over Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV). The Campers record now stands at 2-2.

The Saints (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA). The Blue Storm enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record.
