Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Blackhawk tops Union Area

December 20, 2023: New Castle, PA 16101

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) and the host Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), saw Blackhawk's basketball squad knock off Union Area by a tally of 50-30.

With the victory, Blackhawk improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA) to battle the in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 21. The come into the battle with a record of 3-2. Kennedy Catholic won 79-28 in their recent league battle against Farrell (Farrell, PA)

The Scotties (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA). The come into the non-league battle with a 7-0 record.
