The Cedar Creek Pirates basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Bridgeton Bulldogs to 40 in the Pirates league triumph on Wednesday.
The Pirates now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Absegami for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Cedar Creek will meet a Braves team coming off a 52-34 non-league win over Ocean City (Ocean City, NJ). The Braves record now stands at 3-1.
The Bulldogs (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Wildwood Catholic ran past Atlantic City (Atlantic City, NJ), 60-25, in a league contest.
