Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host East Grand Vikings (Dansforth, ME), 50-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Lee Academy upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Pandas travel to Piscataquis (Guilford, ME) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Piscataquis won 36-30 in their recent non-league bout against Schenck (East Millinocket, ME)

Next up, the Vikings play the Wisdom Pioneers (St. Agatha, ME) in a D North bout, on Wednesday, December 27. East Grand will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 54-46 non-league loss to Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME).
