Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Shade Panthers (Cairnbrook, PA), 62-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ferndale upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets host Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA) to play the Rams in a Western Pennsylvania - Southern bout on Friday, December 22. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Turkeyfoot Valley Area won 55-38 in their recent non-league bout against Mapletown (Greensboro, PA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Shade will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 50-20 league win over Bedford (Bedford, PA).
