The Hobbton Wildcats basketball team (Newton Grove, NC), was overwhelmed 52-14 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC)

The Raiders now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spring Creek for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 3. Midway will battle a Gators team coming off a 48-35 non-league loss to Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC). The Gators record now stands at 4-3.

The Wildcats (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC). The Gators come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record.
