ITW David Speer Academy Pride (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting UIC College Prep Firecats (Chicago, IL), 37-11 in a league bout.

With the win, ITW David Speer Academy upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Pride travel to Johnson (Chicago, IL) to play the Pumas in a Noble bout on Thursday, December 21. The Pumas go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Johnson won 64-35 in their recent non-league bout against Perspectives-IIT/Joslin (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Firecats play the Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. UIC College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
