The Woodgrove Wolverines basketball team scored 86 points and held the visiting Loudoun Valley Vikings to 40 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George C. Marshall for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Woodgrove will battle a Statesmen team coming off a 47-32 league loss to Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 2-4.

The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lightridge (Aldie, VA). The Bolts enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record.
