The Ottawa Pirates basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Streator Bulldogs to 17 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pirates now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Forest for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Ottawa will battle a Bengals team coming off a 43-39 non-league loss to Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 1-11.
