The Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME) basketball nipped the visiting Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME), 36-30 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Pirates (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Lee Academy (Lee, ME). The Pandas go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Lee Academy got by East Grand (Dansforth, ME), 50-33, in a league test.
The Wolverines now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Greenville for a non-league test on Friday, December 29.
