George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), 37-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, George C. Marshall upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Statesmen travel to Langley (McLean, VA) to play the Saxons in a bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Saxons go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Generals play the Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Washington-Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
