In Wednesday's non-league outing, the North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) basketball squad nipped the visiting East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC), by a margin of 39-37.
The Hawks (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC). The Stallions go into the outing with a 1-6 record.
The Panthers now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league outing on Friday, December 22. East Duplin will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 86-49 non-league win over Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-4.
