The Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA), 59-57 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA). The Eagles go into the test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Eagle's Landing got by Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA), 49-34, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Whitewater for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 10.
