In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Madison Blue Streaks basketball team scored a good 53-36 triumph over the Perry Pirates.

In their next game, the Blue Streaks meet the West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 27. Madison will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.

With the defeat, Perry moves to 0-1 on the year. The Pirates host Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Saturday, December 23. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 0-1.
