The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Patrick Henry Rebels to 21 in the Scarlet Hurricanes non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Scarlet Hurricanes now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Battle for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Marion will meet a Trojans team coming off a 41-39 non-league loss to Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-1.
