In Wednesday's non-league outing, the West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC) basketball squad felled the host St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC), by a margin of 59-50.
The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Mustangs go into the outing with a 7-0 record.
The Indians now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to North Iredell for a non-league outing on Friday, January 5. St. Stephens will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 44-42 non-league loss to Foard (Newton, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 5-4.
