The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS) and the host Aberdeen Bulldogs (Aberdeen, MS), observed West Point's basketball team knock off Aberdeen by a score of 54-44.
The Green Wave (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Noxubee County (Macon, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS) in a 3A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Aberdeen will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record.
