The Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Amherst Falcons to 48 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.
The Chargers now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bonduel for a Central Wisconsin - East game on Tuesday, January 7.
With the loss, Amherst falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Assumption (Wisconsin Rapids, WI) to confront the Royals in a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. The Royals go into the game with a record of 3-3.
