Kansas High School Basketball - Ashland can't hold off Hodgeman County

Hodgeman County Longhorns (Jetmore, KS) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Ashland Blue Jays (Ashland, KS), 34-30 in a league match.

With the victory, Hodgeman County upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Longhorns host Macksville (Macksville, KS) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 5-1. Macksville won 66-48 in their recent non-league match against Stafford (Stafford, KS)
