Virginia High School Basketball - Glenvar can't get by Auburn

The Glenvar Highlanders basketball squad (Salem, VA), was nudged 68-62 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA)

With the victory, Auburn advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Eagles host Alleghany (Covington, VA) to meet the Cougars in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 26. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 2-2. Alleghany lost 54-47 in their recent non-league battle against Staunton (Staunton, VA)

The Highlanders now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick County for a Three Rivers battle on Tuesday, January 7.
