The Woodland Cougars basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Barnsdall Panthers to 32 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Pawnee for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Woodland will confront a Black Bears team coming off a 47-38 non-league win over Newkirk (Newkirk, OK). The Black Bears record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Barnsdall falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Pawhuska (Pawhuska, OK) to confront the Huskies in a non-league game on Monday, January 6. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 1-5.
