California High School Basketball - North Tahoe holds off Battle Mountain

December 20, 2024: Tahoe City, CA 96161

The North Tahoe Lakers basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Battle Mountain Longhorns to 52 in the Lakers league triumph on Friday.

The Lakers now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host West Wendover for a 2A Northern contest on Saturday, December 21. North Tahoe will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 79-49 league win over Pershing County (Lovelock, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-0.

In their next game, the Longhorns battle the Incline Highlanders (Incline Village, NV) in a 2A Northern contest, on Saturday, December 21. Battle Mountain will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Highlanders go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 55-52 league loss to North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA).
