North Carolina High School Basketball - South Mecklenburg sneaks past Berry

The South Mecklenburg Sabres basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Berry Cardinals to 49 in the Sabres league triumph on Friday.

The Sabres now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they host First Flight for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. South Mecklenburg will play a Nighthawks team coming off a 64-51 league win over Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Berry falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Friday, December 27.
