The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Westwood Panthers (Palestine, TX) and the visiting Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, TX), observed Westwood's basketball team overwhelm Buffalo by a margin of 76-39.

The Panthers (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Elkhart (Elkhart, TX). The Elks come into the 3A Region III District 20 challenge with a 7-8 record.

In their next game, the Bison battle the Grapeland Sandies (Grapeland, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Buffalo will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Sandies come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 74-13 league win over Groveton (Groveton, TX).
