The Byron Bears basketball team scored 81 points and limited the visiting Goodhue Wildcats to 72 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host St. Paul Central for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Byron will play a Minutemen team coming off a 92-64 non-league win over Camden (Minneapolis, MN). The Minutemen record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Goodhue falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN) to play the Superlarks in a A Section 1 game on Friday, December 27. The Superlarks go into the game with a record of 1-4. Grand Meadow lost 60-43 in their recent league game against Lanesboro (Lanesboro, MN)
