Oklahoma High School Basketball - Oklahoma Union holds off Caney Valley

The Oklahoma Union Cougars basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Caney Valley Trojans to 38 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Grove for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Oklahoma Union will confront a Ridgerunners team coming off a 58-38 non-league loss to Stilwell (Stilwell, OK). The Ridgerunners record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Caney Valley falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Nowata (Nowata, OK) to confront the Ironmen in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Ironmen go into the game with a record of 5-0.
