The Howe Lions basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Central Tigers to 53 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pocola for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Howe will confront a Indians team coming off a 57-30 league win over Talihina (Talihina, OK). The Indians record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Central falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Warner (Warner, OK) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, January 17. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-6.
