The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Conway Christian Eagles (Conway, AR) and the host St. Joseph Bulldogs (Conway, AR), observed Conway Christian's basketball team overcome St. Joseph by a margin of 60-41.

The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR). The Warhawks come into the 2A Region 5 challenge with a 13-6 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Vernon-Enola defeated South Side (Bee Branch, AR), 76-62, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Ozark Catholic Academy Griffins (Springdale, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. St. Joseph will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 71-42 league win over Eureka Springs (Eureka Springs, AR).
