Council Rock South Golden Hawks (Holland, PA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Council Rock North Indians (Newtown, PA), 57-47 in a league match.

With the victory, Council Rock South advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Golden Hawks host Bensalem (Bensalem, PA) to face the Fighting Owls in a Suburban One - Patriot match on Friday, January 3. The Fighting Owls enter the match with a record of 5-1.

The Indians now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to William Tennent for a non-league match on Saturday, December 21.
